We absolutely could not have been more satisfied with Heidi Swan. We had a narrow focus of wanting an Oconomowoc condo on the Isthmus with a pier/boat access. Heidi did a tremendous amount of groundwork over one year sending letters and patiently establishing and nurturing relationships. She was able to establish rapport with the seller who was handling her mother's estate. It was a difficult time for the seller but Heidi was respectful, professional and persistent throughout. Heidi presented our strong offer which was accepted and we were able to close within 2 weeks. She was diligent and meticulous to each and every detail in facilitating the transaction. Her communication was superb and timely. As we prepared for closing, Heidi approached each question, potential glitch or delay with creativity, research and extensive networking. We were so lucky to be able to work with Heidi! We were first time home buyers and really didnt know anything about the process and how everything worked. Heidi ALWAYS took her time with us over the phone between calls and text and thoroughly explained everything we had questions about. She was never biased during her showings and she always gave us her honest opinion. Once we finally found some houses we liked enough to put offers in on, she explained every document and what all the verbiage meant to help us fully understand each page. After over 3 months of searching, frustration and what seemed like 50 showings, we finally got an accepted offer on a house we absolutely loved, THAT SHE FOUND FOR US! I dove into the house buying pool not fully knowing what I was looking for. Heidi took the time and asked a lot of questions before setting up a search for me. As we started seeing houses and I wasn't loving them, she'd ask what I did/didn't like and was able to tailor the experience to me. This was my first house purchase and there were a lot of moments, especially early on, where I was worried that I wasn't seeing anything that I felt strongly about. Heidi kept me calm each time I started to freak out. When I did finally make my first offer she walked me through every part of the paperwork. It was amazing getting to know Heidi and going through this process with her, she made is smooth and painless and I would recommend her to anyone I know who is in the house buying market.
