This holiday season we were proud to give time, resources, money and charitable donations throughout southeastern Wisconsin. Our Shorewest, REALTORS® are proud to call these communities home, and giving back to these areas is something they didn’t have to think twice about.
Once again the Shorewest’s family of company’s employees, friends and families shared the Christmas spirit with 300 children at our annual Christmas is for Kids event (C4K). Throughout the year people give thousands of dollars and hours to C4K. The money and time provide books, back-to-school supplies and the annual December holiday party where Santa makes an appearance. It was a great success!
Our Racine Office broke their record and filled 146 Santa in a Shoebox. They were so happy to contribute these boxes for children and adults during this season of giving.
Our Menomonee Falls Office helped “Blessings in a Backpack” with their monthly food packing. They also presented them with a monetary donation. Blessings in a Backpack is a wonderful non-profit organization run by volunteers that sends food home on the weekends with local children who may otherwise go without.
Shorewest also sponsored the 4th annual Gingerbread Build for Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha County. Three Shorewest offices submitted creative gingerbread displays, helping to raise funds for the construction of affordable housing in the Waukesha County area.
Our Northshore Office helped sponsor the Wood Square Holiday event and provided hot chocolate to all those who visited Santa. The Kenosha Office rang in the holidays by ringing the bells for the Salvation Army and donating a check to the charity.
Our Janesville-Rock County Office presented a check to the Rock County Salvation Army from their August Golf Benefit and our Cedarburg/Grafton Office had an activity table for the kids at the Holiday Tree Lighting Event.
These are just some of the things that Shorewest did around town this holiday season!
At Shorewest, our mission is not about the number of homes we sell, but rather the families and people we help along the way. We are proud to be members of the communities we serve. From donating to local charities to participating in community events to serving on boards and clubs, we are here to make a difference.
