Joe Horning Ranked Among Most Powerful People in Residential Real Estate

The Swaenpoel Power 200 ranks the top 200 real estate professionals in the United States

BROOKFIELD, WIS. 一 Shorewest is proud to announce that their president, Joe Horning, has been included in the 2025 Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) list at number 110. The SP200 is a ranking of the top real estate industry professionals in the country and features brokers, educators, advisors, tech and media personalities. Professionals who qualify for this list are selected from a database including over 3,000 industry leaders and are tested against various criteria, including decision making, tenure within their company, resources, initiatives and leadership amongst their peers.

Joe Horning is the third-generation leader of the family-owned brokerage Shorewest, where he leads a team of 700 agents in 29 offices throughout Wisconsin. He is on Upstream’s Board of Managers, has been president of the Metro MLS for Southeast Wisconsin and the Greater La Crosse Area since 2009 and in 2023, he was the chair of the Wisconsin Association of Realtors. This is his 4th year on the SP200 list.
