Amenities
The Orfordville Public Library  offers many recreational and educational opportunities. Residents are able to attend computer classes, book sales, story times and movies and crafts during the afternoons.

The Rock County Airport is 14-miles from Orfordville and supplies daily cargo and private services.

History
On June 29, 1900, the village of Orfordville became incorporated and was separated from Spring Valley Township. The incorporation of the village was a struggle behind the doors of a court room. The work of five petitioners forced Circuit Judge B.F. Dunwiddie to call for an election. The votes were casted and residents of the proposed territory voted 65 supported and 35 opposed; declaring Orfordville a village.
