On his last visit to Racine, President Obama brought his family to a local distributor for Kringle to taste what Racine “is all about.”

Racine students benefit from the Racine Unified School District. RUSD focuses on rigorous academics, athletics, and artistic endeavors in 20 elementary schools, seven middle schools and six high schools. RUSD benefits from the many cultural opportunities in Racine including the Racine Symphony, the Racine Theatre Guild and the Racine Art Museum. Racine’s proximity to Milwaukee provides plenty of secondary education options, such as Marquette University, University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, Milwaukee Institute of Design and the Milwaukee School of Engineering.

Compared to the same month last year when there were 394 homes for sale, the inventory of homes for sale has fallen by 110 representing a -27.91% year-over-year change.

Homes for sale represents the number of active listings on the market during the specified month as reported in the MLS system operating within the market area.

Median List Price Homes

The median list price in November was $95,000. The median list price for homes in November fell by ($1,250) compared to last month. This represents a 1.29% decrease from October. Compared to the same month last year, the median list price of homes increased $20,100 representing a 26.83% year-over-year increase.

The median list price is the middle value of all currently active listings as reported in the MLS systems in the market area when you arrange these list prices from lowest to highest.
