Watertown’s 26th Annual Riverfest – August 9-12

Watertown is hosting its annual Riverfest and is celebrating 26 years of rides, fireworks, various attractions and delicious food. Located at Riverside Park in Watertown, Wisconsin, there is plenty of fun to be had all throughout the weekend.

Some of the special roving acts this year include a profession chalk artist, mime, magician, fire swallower and juggler. These acts represent some of the best roving talent in Wisconsin and are sure to be a hit with festival-goers of all ages. The taste of Watertown is another treat, where attendants can sample foods from various Watertown restaurants such as root bear floats, ribs, gyros, and bratwurst.

With the lack of rain this year preventing many fireworks shows, Riverfest is eager to have Bartalotta’s Fireworks Display on Saturday, August 11 at 10pm. It should be a spectacular show for all to enjoy.

Riverfest is a great family activity with free admission. Tickets for food and rides can be purchased at Riverside Park. There is also a free shuttle from downtown Watertown to the festival grounds. Please check out the Watertown Riverfest website for more information about Riverfest including schedules of performing acts.
